Carcaise Takes Pride In Building Quality Homes
John Carcaise is one builder who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. "When I started working with my father thirty years ago, we mixed mortar by hand, set the beams ourselves, and delivered our own material," John explained. "These days, we

hire the best subcontractors to do all of this work, but I am still just as involved." "I love construction," he continued. "Building is my heart and soul." John F. Carcaise, Sr. founded Carcaise Home Builders in 1910, followed by John F. Carcaise Jr., and today, it remains prosperous under the third-generation ownership of John F. Carcaise III, who is now the sole proprietor.
Carcaise continues to be a family oriented business, with John's sister, Julie Francis, working as the firm's office administrator and their mother, Joanne, as advisor. This family's talent for home building is self evident. Not only have they been in the business nearly 90 years, but they have also been voted Beaver County's Best Home Builder for the last five years by the readers of the Beaver County Times. These newspaper ballots verify customer approval of the service they receive from Carcaise Home Builders. "We pride ourselves on the fact that we are always available to customers, day or night;" John said. "We also try to maintain a close relationship with the customer by personally involving ourselves in every stage of the building process."
"Warranties, walkthroughs, and punch lists are also part of our plan to make clients happy," he explained.

"We want to ensure that everything meets Carcaise's high standards and the customer's expectations." At Carcaise Home Builders, the effort put into providing quality service is matched by the company's design and building skills. As a custom builder, Carcaise specializes in tailoring a house to the owner's needs, tastes, and budget. "I am definitely interested in making homes affordable to each individual," John explained. The company works with an architect to provide |
customers with the best type of home for their property. The architect's successful work makes it easy for the company to live up to its signature statement, "drawn to build" "designed to sell." The final result is usually a two-story house, around 2,500 square feet, packed with amenities.
Among the most popular features in a Carcaise home are open foyers, 18-foot ceilings, gabled high-pitched roofs, skylights, wrap-around porches, and built-in bookcases. The company also likes to add specialty brickwork, extended chimneys, and brick or stone fireplaces to set its homes apart.
| Carcaise Home Builders also relies on its community standing. "Our reputation comes from our high standards," John said. "Many builders go into the business with the idea of cutting corners on the building trade, but we know that we must give customers the value they deserve." To reach the company's standards John has relied on Brad Brummitt, a CSR at the 84 Lumber store in Vanport, Pennsylvania, for |

building materials. "His on-time delivery has been a great asset," John said. "And his one-on-one relationships with his clients are the reason we recommend him to our customers."
"I have been working with the Carcaises for a couple of years now, and I'm still impressed by their business," Brad said. "They take the time to put little extras into their homes, like fine masonry work and I know the customers appreciate that."
Throughout years of custom home construction, John F. Carcaise Home Builders has built a reputation based on top-quality workmanship.
John has assembled his own first-rate subcontractors and tradesman. Carcaise Home Builders performs its own masonry work including brick, block and stone work. Based in Rochester; Carcaise Home Builders focuses on construction projects in Beaver and Lawrence counties, but will branch out into surrounding areas. As a custom builder, John is pleased to work with homeowners to custom design floor plans. His specialty is tailoring a house to the owner's needs, taste and budget. He has constructed a variety of homes at a broad price range. John is personally involved in every stage of the building process to assure that everything meets his high standards and the customers expectations.
Carcaise Home Builders was voted Beaver County's best home builders in 1996 through 2000. Old World traditions and values have influenced three generations of home building. Currently at the helm is John Carcaise III.
